About Us
- 1999 - Marc Taylor, the founder of Mascot Toys, also a professional mascot (1999-2015) for a National Basketball Association (NBA) team, was looking for a larger, more powerful mini-trampoline to perform acrobatic stunts. After a few months of searching and talking with other professional mascots and acrobats, it became very apparent that the product he needed did not exist.
- 2001 - With a team of fabricators, an engineer and a crash test dummy (Marc), the prototype was completed. Almost a year of testing and fine tuning and the final product was complete.
- 2002 - Mascot Toys opened its doors. In just the first 3 days, nine NBA teams placed orders along with Acrodunk and the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus.
- 2007 - Mascot Toys celebrates 5 years of success. More than 80 custom mini-trampolines have been shipped around the world to the United States, China, England, Japan, The Philippines, France, and Puerto Rico.
- 2008 - Mascot Toys relocated their World Headquarters to Edmond, Oklahoma.
- 2012 - Our 10 year anniversary marked our busiest year to date. Many new dunk teams around the world have added to our success.
- 2017 - 15 years and going strong. American Ninja Warrior, Brooklyn Zoo NY and NBA Asia are just a few of our new clients.
- 2020-21 - The worldwide pandemic didn't slow us down. We were still shipping across the US and even China. Customers are still practicing and building new shows to be ready when the entertainment industry is back in full swing.
- 2022 - 20 years of building the world's best high performance acrobatic dunking mini trampolines!
- 2023 - Struggles with the supply chain caused delays, but we did our best to stay one step ahead and have mini tramps ready when you needed them.
- A new spring design has been rolled out. It provides the same quality bounce but with a smaller and lighter spring.
- 2024 - A groundbreaking year!
- Two new springs designs have been released and we retired all previous versions.
- The prototype of the folding Airline Travel Tramp was finished in July. Production started in August. Pictures and more info coming soon!
